The Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (CCAA) is pleased to announce the release of
the Quarter 1 Market Price Information (MPI) for the fiscal year 2025\u20132026.
As part of our ongoing effort to make the MPI more relevant and useful to consumers,
businesses, government agencies, and other organizations, the latest edition features an expanded
list of 45 key commodities, including\u2014for the first time \u2013 prices of meat products. This
enhancement is aimed at improving the depth and practical value of the information for
purchasing, investment, and policy decisions, as well as academic and adaptive research.
The CCAA remains committed to providing accurate, timely, and practical market information to
all our stakeholders. While we aspire to broaden the coverage and frequency of future updates,
current resource limitations continue to pose certain constraints. Nonetheless, we are confident
that the information published will prove useful and relevant to our users.
