Drawing on retail price surveys conducted in Thimphu during May and June 2026, alongside a comparative analysis of prices across South Asia, the study offers an evidence-based assessment of Bhutan&#8217;s egg market prices.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Bhutan, the study finds, now has the highest retail egg prices in the region: consumers pay roughly Nu. 18 per egg, more than two and a half times the prevailing price in India.
